"DisplayLink Manager is capturing your screen." message
Hello,
A new icon appeared in the menu bar of my Mac and when I click on it, I get the following message: "DisplayLink Manager is capturing your screen." What does this mean exactly and how do I turn it off/disable it? |

This thing is making me bonkers!
It flashes on and off repeatedly all day long and is incredibly distracting! I really don't need to know what's going on in the background. They need to give us an option on how to disable it (or at least how to disable the constant flashing purple part, so I can focus). |

This is also driving me bonkers. I cannot stand that it flashes on and off!

I just created an account so I can post on this thread and also complain about this flashing icon, which is awful. It's clearly a bug. Can somebody at DisplayLink please fix this. Either the icon should be there all the time, or it should never be there. But its flashing on and off dozens of times a day is awful. I have a nice pause/play function in my menu bar that I use constantly, and now I make mistakes, as the DisplayLink icon pushes it over unexpectedly due to this bug.
