Default Macbook Air M2 and Displaylink in USB2 only

Hi all,

I find my displaylink sluggish on day-to-day use. When I look into my system info, under Hardware->USB, it shows that [USB Display] is under the USB2.0 Hub.

I tried both USB-C link and both shows the same thing.

Anyone have similar issues and/or know how to fix this?

System: Macbook Air M2
OS: Sonoma 14.5
Displaylink Driver: 1.10.2 Build 14

Hi grooby,
Thank you for contacting us to draw attention to your problem. Can you upload a picture of your USB tree here and share what model of docking station you have? Many of the devices have a built-in USB 2.0 hub which doesn't mean the image is transmitted through it.
