MacOS scroll behavior affected
Hi all, I have been using a Plugable DisplayLink for connecting my macbook air to two external monitors, 1 Dell U2422H and 1 Dell U2414H. It has been working fine but lately scroll behavior has been affected, in that it constantly scrolls left without me touching anything and scrolling up and down behavior on my trackpad is extremely choppy. I also have a bluetooth mouse that does not seem to stop the random scrolling behavior. THIS BEHAVIOR STOPS IMMEDIATELY WHEN UNPLUGGED FROM THE CABLE, AND IS A STANDALONE LAPTOP.
I have already updated my mac to the latest software update (Sonoma) and updated the DisplayLink drivers to the latest version. The issue has persisted from this version from the previous. I have already tried replacing the cable - it's not the cable. The port on my laptop seems fine as other cables have worked in that port. The random scrolling has made it impossible for me to do my work. Please advise. Will send the DisplayLink support zip file to support as well. Last edited by dirtboy82; 12-05-2023 at 07:44 PM. |
