Can't get 4k@60Hz over HDMI
I've been reading on this situation and it seems that some products do an internal DisplayPort to HDMI conversion to achieve this.
I'm using this product: https://www.startech.com/en-us/cards-adapters/dk30a2dh It claims such support, dual 4k@60hz monitor support. My 2019 Macbook Pro running Monterey and the latest DisplayLink software is only offering 30Hz though unless I step all the way down to 1920x1080. I'm using an Ultra High Speed HDMI cable, and when I connect via a USB-C to HDMI adapter, or I use a Windows PC, I can drive my TV at 4k@60Hz. The dock and DisplayLink software only seems to be allowing 30Hz though. How can I get it to do 3840x2160@60Hz? Last edited by tinydonuts; 02-10-2022 at 11:18 PM. |

Resolved, had to explicitly enable HDMI 2.0 on the TV in the settings for the input menu.
