DisplayLink is not present in Extensions on MacOS Catalina 10.15.2
I have QGeeM USB 3.0 Docking Station and installed the latest DisplayLink Manager Graphics Connectivity driver on Mac OS Catalina 10.15.2.
As predicted, "No monitors are detected" is displayed. Also, I wanted to check the status of the DisplayLinkDriver extension but it is not there. Any advice is appreciated |

QGeeM Docking Station
I've experienced the same. I reinstalled the DisplayLink Manager which seemed to fix the issue. https://www.displaylink.com/downloads/macos Also, at least once, when the additional monitors weren't detected, I simply opened DisplayLink from my Applications folder, which triggered the connection.
I'm still dealing with other inconsistencies with this same docking station though. Primarily that Zoom is now disconnecting me at random (which is REALLY screwing up the webinars I'm co-hosting), and the Mac screensaver photos are not appearing on my additional monitors (which, at one point, they did). I can't tell if it's this docking station or DisplayLink... |

Problem with .kext loading
What's happening with me is that the .kext file is not being deleted when I uninstall the app.
If I uninstall the app and the use "sudo kextload [path]" I will find the extension loadedin system information. When I reinstall the app, the extension disappears from system information I have absolutely no coding experience, just been googling and trying stuff |
