You could also try "sudo apt -f install" to fix any missing dependencies before re-running the installation...

Only thing extra I had to do even though on Intel graphics I
had to make /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-displaylink.conf contain: Section "Device" Identifier "DisplayLink" Driver "modesetting" Option "PageFlip" "false" EndSection not this: Section "Device" Identifier "Intel Graphics" Driver "intel" EndSection |
