I have a dual monitor setup with my 2018 MBP with Mojave 10.14.1, going through a Dell Universal Dock - D6000. I have the described problem on the DisplayLink driver download page and use the v4.3 Beta 6 driver as the workaround. Essentially this gives me one monitor that extends my display, and the other that mirrors my MBP screen but is blurry and doesn't use the full display. I have to keep my laptop open for this setup to work consistently. It's a less than optimal setup, but is getting me by.
@AlbanRampon can you give us any insight on when the next update to resolve this display issue will be available? |

Good morning,
It's not possible for us to give a promise on a release dates for a third party. But, the macOS 10.14.2 Beta 1 is now out and fixes the 2018 model issue. Some users also confirmed. Kind regards, Alban

I can confirm the dock station is now working on my Mac pro 2018 with Mojave 10.14.2 Beta (18C31g). I am using 3 monitors with 2K resolution. No more black screens.

I can Confirm this here to; MBpro 2108 15" i9; 10.14.2 beta (18C31g) and Displaylink driver v5.0.1
Cross my fingers that the beta is otherwise stable for me ... I dread installing beta´s for a reason ... but this issue was really disruptive to my productivity/flexibility |

Working !
And I can also confirm that MacBook Pro 2018 with 5.0.1 drivers appears to work fine now as of MacOS Mojave 10.14.1.

Driver version 5.0.1 on Mac OS Mojave 10.14.1 didn't cut it for me. When I upgraded to 10.14.2 Beta 1, it worked.

10.14.2 (18C31g) doesn't work for me with 5.0.1 driver.
Running a 2018 Macbook Pro 15". My mate with a 2018 Macbook 13" gets a duplicate display across all three screens but cannot login as it crashes back to the login screen immediately upon entering in his password. Still not quite there it would seem. UPDATE: I stand corrected; evidently in the Security Settings the Display Link extension was blocked on startup. Enabled that, all works now. woohoo! 10.14.2 (18C31g) works fine for me with 5.0.1 driver. Except I'm missing my favorite resolution 3008 x 1692 which my display supports but is not available in system prefs.
