Docking station does not detect the monitor
I have bought a docking station(brand i-tec), which is actually DisplayLink DL-3900, as i-tec told me.
I connected it to my laptop, the Network and USB ports on the docking station works well, sound and microphone has not been tested. But the monitor connected to the HDMI port can not be detected. I have tried to update the windows version, the driver for the onboard graphic card. I have tried clean the DisplayLink software and reinstall the software, rebooted the laptop and docking station many times. But nothing helps. My laptop Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro 1370 with Intel M5 processor. Windows 10 Pro Version 1608 Build 14393.321 Onboard Graphic card Intel HD5300 driver version 10.18.15.4279 DisplayLink driver version 8.0 M3 (8.0.903.0) DisplayLink graphic card is displayed in Device Manger as USB3.0 3 to 2 Docking Station. Could you please help? |

Good afternoon,
i-tech could have done a bit of a better job at informing you correctly on their own product! DisplayLink does not design, manufacture or sell *any* end product. We are a semiconductor company. The DisplayLink DL-3900 series is only one of the many chips in that docking station... that i-tec got made and are selling. Also, they are supposed to do the technical support but I will be delighted to help! Can you please look at the last link in my forum signature, follow the steps to use our Customer Support Tool with everything connected as it should be working? Then, reply here posting the .ZIP file created by the tool on your desktop. Kind regards, Alban
