Win 8.1 issue's
Hi Display Link.
We have update a win7x64 machine to win8.1 x64 same hardware same setup. Our setup is 4 monitor and one wall TV and on win7 it worked great but not with win8.1, its stuck in an infinite screen flicker mode until the USB to the Display link is removed. http://youtu.be/3lFSuAPQsqo Any suggestions. Hi,
As a first point of call please check: - You have the latest graphics drivers (for your PC) installed - You have the latest DisplayLink drivers installed If the issue is still seen, please attach the output of this tool: http://www.displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=269 Once downloaded, please run it and select "Gather Support Information" When you reply please select "Manage Attachments" from the "Additional Options" section below. From there select Upload and navigate to the output of the tool which will be in a folder called "DisplayLink Support Files" on your desktop. Thanks, James |

Hmmm, I have recently upgraded to Windows 8.1 and for a while all 3 monitors were working great.. Today for some reason.. monitors flash, windows sends the discovered new hardware sound, and keeps recycling until I remove displaylink from the 3rd monitor. I have tried uninstalling / re-installing and same thing.. recycles every few seconds black screen, restarts and keeps repeating..

I have used the DisplayLink software tool, remove residual applications or whatever it is called.. completed in (DOS MODE) started and stopped, but as for as I can tell, did not help.. Perhaps (CMD MODE).. but still did not work as for as I can tell..
