Default Win 8.1 does not redraw in Office products

Using the USB 3.0 to HDMI adapter. Have tried the latest drivers and one revision back with Plugable, but the screen refresh gets corrupted. Pluggable has been very helpful in trying to resolve the problem, but still no solution. When using outlook, old graphics are left on the screen. The issue occurs on the USB monitor and my other two monitors. Any suggestions?

Hi,

Could you attach a photo of the corruption?

Do you recall the versions of the DisplayLink software that you tried?

What version of Office are you using?

Can you also attach the output of this tool:
http://www.displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=269

Once downloaded, please run it and select "Gather Support Information"

When you reply please select "Manage Attachments" from the "Additional Options" section below.

From there select Upload and navigate to the output of the tool which will be in a folder called "DisplayLink Support Files" on your desktop.

Thanks,
James

This may be a Microsoft bug that gets exposed with DisplayLink installed. There is a thread about this on the Microsoft website:
