Since upgrading my Display Link-connected monitor is showing a desktop that is too large for the screen area, with the toolbar and dock both outside the visible area.
In System Preferences > Displays, neither "Best for display" nor "Scaled" corrects the issue, and I can't seem to find any other ways to tweak the settings. I've been using Display Link to run this (admittedly older) monitor for more than 6 months with no issues, apart from minimal lag. Any suggestions? Thanks, m |

Have you tried holding ALT + Click the scaled button under display settings? That opens up all possible resolution.
