Post M1 Mac mini and Dell G5 docking station

Hi

I'm using a M1 Mac mini and A HP G5 dock (just purchased) to connect to a suite of Dell 27 Monitor | S2721H

I called tech support at HP before buying the Dock but I'm getting a 'No display link enabled display error' and the Mac is mirroring displays from the display port and HDMI connections on the dock.

Reading another thread I've checked the system report and looked up the device and under the USB-C G5 it says Vendor ID: Hewet Packard. which seems to suggest that the guy at HP was wrong and the G5 isn't displaylink enabled?

Can you advise if I'm right? and if yes what a better choice would be I'm guessing a Dell D6000?

And as a follow up question to avoid more disappointment, do you know if the Dell D6000 will support triple screen set up on a M1 Mac mini. Note this is a mini not a pro. It supports 2 screens natively, but I'm trying to get 3 via a usb dock as I want to be able to switch quickly between my work PC and my home Mac.
