Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS Installation Incomplete

Hi,

Ran the driver installation script displaylink-driver-1.3.54.run

sudo ./displaylink-driver-1.3.54.run

These was the messages that were printed:

The upstart script wasn't installed, meaning, /etc/inig/dlm.conf is missing.

Any ideas why?

I have:
1. xps 13
2. ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS
3. kernel version 4.10.0-30-generic
4. xorg version 1:7.7+13ubuntu3
5. intel graphics
