I should point out that my Lenovo W520 only supports 2560x1440 or 2560x1600 over DisplayLink:
http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/deta...DocID=PD015362 but my monitor is DVI-D only (no other inputs). And because I'm up to 3 monitors, but my docked W520 can only do 2 digital displays externally at a time, I'm stuck using the Lenovo dock for the 3rd monitor connection. So I use the Accell adapter coming straight out the DisplayPort on the laptop itself (not the dock), and it works. Occasionally, I'm getting occasional BSODs (dlkmd.sys 0x0000007E) now upon wake-up from suspend, on Windows 7 x64 SP1. But I suspect that's due to my Lenovo USB 3.0 dock and/or drivers, not the Accell adapter (which requires no driver). Hoping Windows 8 and the DisplayPort drivers eventually get me complete stability, but even now, it's not bad (1 in 8 wake-ups bluescreen, stable once operating), so it's worth the hassle/wait for me.
