Default Dell E6530 - Monitors flashing randomly

We have multiple users who are experiencing this issue. They are all Dell Latitude E6530's with Windows 7 x64. We have updated the nVIDIA card driver to the latest Dell release (307.68) as well as the integrated Intel card driver (8.15.10.2712). We are currently running DisplayLink driver 7.2 M1, as well as several previous releases.

Users are using the laptop on a dock with the laptop open and display enabled. They also have one monitor hooked up to dock with DVI, and one monitor hooked up to dock with VGA. Third external monitor is hooked up using HP USB DisplayLink adapter. This gives them four functioning displays.

Intermittently the DisplayLink connected monitor will flash off, which then causes all of the other monitors to re-adjust. This may only last a few seconds before the DisplayLink monitor comes back on and everything is back to normal.

We also have Dell E6520's with the same setup but they do not seem to have the issue.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Hi,

Do the Dell E6520's also have the ShoreTel software installed?

Thanks,
James

Hi,

For this system can you try updating the graphics drivers to the latest from Intel & Nvidia?

For the first system you sent the logs in for can you let me know if this happens on other USB ports on the system?

Thanks,
James
