M1 MBA, three monitors, but not in desired resolution
Hi,
I recently started using displaylink as I wanted more than 1 additional screen on my MBA. I've been running with 2 screens (excluding the MBA) for a while now, and recently extended with another monitor. My current setup is as follows: Macbook Air, USB-C connects to monitor 1 (1440p). Monitor one has a USB 3 port, which I connect my displaylink hub to. Monitor 2 (1080p) is connected over HDMI, as is Monitor 3 (1440p). No issues with monitors one and two. The monitor 3 is however running in 1080p at the moment. I am able to scale it up to 3840x2160 (which, considering it's a 2560x1440 screen, not the greatest). Ideally I am able to run it in 1440p just like the main screen, I just cannot figure out how to do this, and if it's possible at all. The hub itself supports 2x 4k, so shouldn't be the issue. Any advice would be highly appreciated! |
