Slower than SnowLeopard version?
This somewhat (or entirely) subjective, but it seems like my MiniDeck-connected display is slower when using the Lion beta driver than when I was using SnowLeopard. Anyone else notice this?

Agreed, seems slower to me. The mouse pointer isn't smooth like it was in SL.

I don't think it's actually slower on my machine; the problems are just more noticeable because Lion has even more global animations (new Spaces, Exposé replacements, LaunchPad, Dashboard).

Spaces, Dashboard, Launchpad, Expose, and many applications require graphics acceleration to run smoothly. The OS X DisplayLink driver does not support graphics acceleration while the Windows version has for quite a long time. It would be very useful for the OS X version to support graphics acceleration as well.

It is definitely slower. The mouse pointer staggers on a Macbook 15" 2011 with SSD. Not nearly as smooth as with SL.
