surface pro 4 windows 10 unknown device
Hallo together,
In my MS surface pro 4 with Windows 10 I am unable to connect external Monitor, Audio and Network Adapter. I have installed the latest Driver 8.0 M3 but in the Device Manager I only get an unknown Device. I have searched in google fort this problem. Maybe the problem depends on Intel USB 3 xTensible Host Controller? Is There any solution fort this problem? Many Tanks |

Hallo Thomas,
If the device is unknown to Windows, then Windows will not even try to assign DisplayLink driver to it as it doesn't know which driver it can choose. This sounds very low level and I would advise you try with another USB cable. If you post the ZIP generated by our customer support tool (last link in my email signature), I can have a look in case there are pointers, however if the device doesn't enumerate correctly, this is not something a new driver would change. Kind regards, Alban
