5.4 still won't support 1680x1050 on Win 7
I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, and can't get my monitor at 1680x1050 res. When I plug the monitor into the vga port directly, that is it's native resolution. When I plug it in through my USB adapter, the highest I can get is 1440x900.
Installation was a breeze, but forced TWO restarts this time. (as opposed to only one during the regular installation.) I have an nVidia GeForce GT130M video card, and I have updated all the drivers for my card. The monitor is a DCLLCD 20", and they do not have drivers compatible with a 64 bit OS. Any ideas on how to force this to use 1680x1050? |

Support Files
I have the support files. Where do I sent them? I tried to attach them, but the file was too large.

I have the same problem. Driver seems to have rebooted randomly and since then native resolution 1680x1050 is no longer available on my main monitor.
Windows 7 64bit. ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 (latest drivers) Running USB ViBook on second monitor Both monitors are identical. ViBook connect with DVI (no problem) Main monitor connected with VGA directly to laptop, this is where native resolution 1680x1050 is no longer available (used to be) the EDID of both LG W2254 clearly state 1680 is supported however it is not shown as available to select for main monitor. |

I have the files ready to send. WHERE DO I SEND THEM, please? I don't know what email to send them to, and I can't attach them in this forum as they are too large.
Thanks. |

How large are the files? Can you split them into a couple of parts to attach here? If not, the important files to start with are SystemDetails.txt, DisplayLinkManager.log, DisplayLinkManager.log.old, *.edid.
Thanks, Sian |

Any updates
I have uploaded my files. Any news on why this is not working on Win 7? I would really like to get my resolution fixed on this monitor.
Thanks. Vee |
