Dell D6000 ethernet problems with different Dell laptops
Hello. I've got an issue with D6000. I've got 5 of them connected to different Dell laptops (all on windows 10) and problem is the same with all of them. Ethernet port stop working correctly. stasion can work fine few hours, or few days, the issue is appears in random period. But always the same - ethernet stop working. if i ping local resorses it looks like 2 pings OK, 8 failed, 2 OK, 9 failed. Only reboot the station can fix this problem temporary.
I have tried different Displaylink drivers, tried to update\downgrade the firmware of station - nothing helps. We have few WD19 station, whitch uses the different technology and there is no such problems with them What can i try else? |

Similar issue here, just got a new laptop and the ethernet drops on my d6000 regularly my case, 10-20x a day and often back to back to back which causes my work VPN to disconnect and makes getting back up and running or back in calls very painful :\

Hello,
This isn't something we have experienced. Is that only the Ethernet dropping or you have other undesired behaviour? Does the link stay up, does Wi-Fi works and takes over...? If you also have other undesired behaviour, can you describe them and try with 10.1 Alpha? http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/file?d=325. That Alpha does not have specific Ethernet fix but improvements on general behaviour. Regards, Alban
