Monitors show in 'Display' setting but screens don't display anything
Hi folks,
RE: MacBook Pro M1 14" 2021, Apple M1 Pro chip, 16GB RAM, OS Monterey 12.5 I installed the display link driver for my Wavlink WL-UG69PD24 hub and can see my 2 additional external monitors in the mac "displays" setting menu but neither seems to display anything on the screen. The first monitor i plugged in momentarily came on and then disappeared. I’m also getting random red vertical and horizontal lines. See *screesnshots* linked below. I've tried the following: - reseating all cables - check the DisplayLink connection settings (enabled automatic startup) and installed login screen extension status - powered the hub on and off - restarted Mac - switched the hub to Mac C cable across the 3 USB C sockets on the Mac But none of the above has made a difference. I am using a display port to display port on both my external monitors. The monitors are in good working order and work if I directly connect them to my USB C ports directly on my Mac. I downloaded my drivers from this location https://www.wavlink.com/en_us/driver...5a54b3faf.html Any tips to resolve this? PS. I have attached screenshots via the links below to illustrate the configurations. #macOS version https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jI9...usp=share_link #display link manager settings https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LFq...usp=share_link #mac display 'settings' https://drive.google.com/file/d/10bL...usp=share_link #mac display options https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tjP...usp=share_link #random red lines appear across all screens https://drive.google.com/file/d/1O3I...usp=share_link Thanks. same issue with HP G2 dock and MacBook Air M1
Similar issue here.
I downloaded DisplayLink and to open when starting. My laptop recognises the external monitor on the display setting but the external monitor does not show anything. I've reset everything and double checked connections. |
