Hi,
I have a Macbook Air M2 with a 4K DisplayLink adapter to 2 Dell QHD monitors. One of the monitors is at 1920x1080 and properly scaled (ie the fonts look nice a crisp), whereas the other display is at a lower res. When I list all the resolutions and set it to 1920x1080 the fonts are not crisp, which I assume means the Retina scaling is not activated. Of note, at a random time the problematic monitor does go blank for a few seconds and then enters the proper display mode, ie 1920x1080 with Retina scaling. How do I get this other monitor to be in the proper state consistently? I am using the latest version of Display Link v1.10.2 b14. Thanks, Vince |

Turns out it was issue with the HDMI cable. I switched all cables to DisplayPort and all is good now. I had same issue as this thread where the display with the issue was being detected as "No Monitor":
