I am the only user on this MBA and have Admin rights. I have downloaded 1.8 a few times and tried but keep getting the same message:
"The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance." Any clue how to fix? I do have a LG screen attached to MBA via USB-C but I unhooked it also and tried and that did not allow the installation to go thru. Any other ideas? I have read this but the "Installer" is not an option under "Files and Folders":
