Requested size exceeds 3D hardware limit of 2048,2048
Hi I've purchased two UGA-M1920's from Amazon where it was stated that drivers are supported on Ubuntu.
I have an Ubuntu 16.04, I've installed with "sudo ./displaylink-driver-1.2.65.run" I'm using a Dell 19' 1440x900 and have two spare ones that I would like to hook up and turn vertical. When plugging in 1 UGA-M1920 using "Displays" its recognized, but when I try adding it I get the message Requested size exceeds 3D hardware limit of 2048,2048 After some searching for graphics card info I've used $ lspci | grep VGA 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82G33/G31 Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 0a) but can't find any info on how to change or bypass 3D hardware limits. Many thanks for any suggestions. I'm ready to return the M1920's and try a card. (The search on these forums doesn't seem to work) |
