Windows 10 Update & DisplayLink Devices with Auto Install
Hi,
Thanks for taking the time to help. I have an HP USB 2.0 Dock Station (Model number: HSTNN-S01X) that hasn't been working properly since installing the Window 10 Anniversary Update. My second monitor isn't working even though I uninstalled the old DisplayLink driver and installed the new one. I saw an article (link) that, if I understood it correctly, said that there's no way to support my device after this update due to the Auto Install feature. 1. Is that correct? 2. Is there anything for me to do about it? 3. If not, can I uninstall the part of the update that's causing this issue? Thanks again, Dave |

Hello Dave,
That's correct and we don't know a way round it. Unfortunately, the change is too fundamental to be able to be changed by selecting a specific file to add/remove. Kind regards, Alban
