EDIT: My apologies, this has turned out to be an issue with the OEM display drivers, not with DisplayLink specifically. I'm unable to delete the post.
I have a Dell Inspiron 5548 with a D3000 replicator. Every time that something happens that resets the DisplayLink service/drivers/whatevers my session is terminated. Every application that is running is terminated. It's as if "shutdown /l /f" was issued. I've confirmed this by:
