Dell D6000 one monitor stuck at 640x480
I have a Dell XPS13, and 2 x Philips 241S monitors. I used the D6000 successfully for a month with both monitors (and the laptop screen itself) all running at 1920x1080, everything was perfect.
Then after about a month, one of the Philips monitors now only runs at 640x480, and the options to change it in windows are all greyed out. I initially used the Dell drivers (v8.x) I have now gone to DisplayLink drivers v9 in an attempt to fix this, but no change - still stuck at 640x480. The one that is having the problem is DVI-D to HDMI on the dock. The working monitor is displayport cable. Kindly assist please in how to fix this, it is hugely annoying and can't do what I need to do with 1 monitor down! Logs are attached |

so I switched the problem monitor from DVI-HDMI and went to displayport, so both monitors are now displayport, and voila it is all working again.

Hello Modena,
Unfortunately, DisplayLinkManager.log is missing from the package. I am unable to find why the monitor identification details couldn't be read. The DisplayLink chip in this product is always using the DisplayPort output, even for the HMDI out . I am wondering if you're meeting the same root cause as another thread I looked at. I understand you thankfully now have a solution. Should you wish this looked into, I would welcome another set of logs with DisplayLinkManager.log. Kind regards, Alban
