USB powered monitor 1366x768 - resolution must be downgraded to 1024x768
Hello everybody,
Here is my configuration, everything is recent. 1) Dual screen with a very common portable monitor. AOC e1659Fwu 15.6-Inch 1366x768 2) CPU Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4300Y CPU @ 1.60GHz Graphic VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Device 0a1e (rev 0b) 3) Display link version displaylink-driver-5.3.1.34.run --- Impossible to use my secondary monitor in resolution 1366x768 (stripes on the screen) With resolution : 1024x778, it has worked for the last year. Problem occurs with both Lubuntu 18.04 and 20.04 or display Link 5.3.1.33 |

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us here on the forum. Based on your description I would recommend testing different resolution modes. Mainly, please add 1360x786 first and then 1368x768 and test it on them. In order to do it, please take a look at this article. Article describes a general change for VGA. In your case it should be probably: DVI-I-1-1 (DVI- xxxx) and probably gtf 1360 768 59.9, the rest accordingly. Mode name should stay custom.
