Default AOC e1649wu does not work with Ubuntu 16.04 with ALIENWARE R13

Hello,

I am not able to use AOC e1649wu with Ubuntu 16.04 with Alienware R13 laptop. I have a dual boot system, the device works perfectly fine in Windows 10. Moreover, I have checked with my friend's laptop - the device works fine in HP Envy with Ubuntu 16.04. I am using DisplayLink USB Graphics Software for Ubuntu 1.3.52 driver.

Attached are the log files generated using DisplaLink Linux tool.

I have disabled secure boot option as mentioned in some thread in the forum.

This is my uname -a output:
Code:
Linux thunderbolt 4.8.0-46-generic #49~16.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Fri Mar 31 14:51:03 UTC 2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Libusb output:

From the thread: systemctl status dlm.service - shows following output
Code:
systemctl status dlm.service
