I'm just realizing we've not been talking about the same thing. I let myself be influenced by the video part which has no relevance here. You were very clear, it's me!

What you're trying is not directly related to DisplayLink actually...
You have a keyboard and mouse connected to a USB hub within the i-tec docking station and so is the chip we sell them.
DisplayLink driver or chip have zero visibility of your keyboard and mouse USB traffic.

Do you know if the dock looks like it powers down when the computer goes to sleep? (you could attach a drive, or anything with a LED on it when working).
Is it the model of docking station you have?
