You're welcome! Maybe look for an adapter that supports 60 Hz, then the mouse will run smoother....
One more info:
If you are running your 4k monitor via DisplayLink, you will probably miss HiDPI resolutions. The current DisplayLink driver version 1.5 only offers 1920x1080 as HiDPI, but no higher resolutions like 2560x1440. But there is a workaround:
