Default Sluggish performance and few colors under Chrome OS

Hi there, I just bought and received this Display Link adapter : https://amzn.to/2YBeMS0 Plugable USB to VGA Video Graphics Adapter for Multiple Displays up to 1920x1080 (Supports Windows 10, 8.1,7, XP & Chromebooks)

I have a Dell Optiplex 3020 with Chrome OS installed v83.0.4103.97 (Official Build) (64-bit) installed. This desktop has a Dell ultra-wide (3440 x 1440) as the main monitor connected via the Display Port and a standard Full HD Viewsonic on the left connected through the VGA port. I bought 2 identical ViewSonic monitors, one would get on the right, so I bought this adapter linked to get the 3rd monitor. It is connected via one of the back USB 3 ports.

It works, but yuo can clearly see sluggish performance and also that it display fewer colors. Looks like it's running at 30 Hz, but Chrome OS says it's 60 Hz and colors seems to be running at half the other monitors.

Here are the 2 monitors I bought : https://amzn.to/2YCuRag

They both run great under Windows and Linux (dedicated video card, nVidia GeForce 1060). But under Chrome OS, the one on the right has those issues. And it's not the monitor, I swapped them and the problem is always with the one that has the USB adapter connected.

Also, Chrome OS gives me this on the notification tray : This monitor isn't getting along with your Chromebook (the monitor is not supported).

But the problem is, if I connect only that 'problematic' monitor to my Chrome OS through the VGA on the back (not the adapter), it works just fine, so it's not the monitor.

Thanks.
