DisplayLink Forum - View Single Post - POP OS 21.04 USB wavlink was working and now is NOT

I believe this stopped working after some updates to Pop OS. However I am not entirely sure as my external monitor was working fine then after a reboot the monitor was no longer detected in displays.

I have tried numerous attempts to uninstall and reinstall including several from this forum. At this time I know the usb device is recognized because I see it in dmesg when I unplug it and plug it back in. I also get the warning during the reinstall process. The uninstall and reinstall process does not throw any errors.

I am attempting to install using displaylink-driver-5.4.1-55.174 (which is what I initially got the usb device working)

Any recommendations or ideas are welcome.
