Default Need help bypassing the OSX gatekeeper please

OSX 10.13.6 MacBook Pro 8,2
Displaylink driver v4.3.1

I've installed this on one machine successfully. I know it works!

I DO know about the gatekeeper bug that removes the 'allow 3rd party' option in security settings.

On the successful machine I had this already enabled.

On the 2nd machine, I screwed up and forgot to enable that first. (Same model and same OSX 10.13.6)
Displaylink DID ask for permission. I WAS able to click allow in security preferences.
But... black screen. Got an OSX alert once that confirmed it was being blocked.

Google search led me to "Yeah, this happens sometimes. Just rerun the installer..."

Unfortunately that must have been a guess from someone!
The installer will say there's already a newer version installed and not let you re-install it. The uninstall app in the installer download has the red circle/slash through it, so uninstalling via that is apparently not an option! (Apparently the uninstaller might be only compatible with an older OSX? Someone didn't update the installer image? Can only guess.)

Can someone tell me where the files are to either remove manually in order to let me start over or perhaps a terminal entry enable security permission?

Thanks in advance!
