Yes, you can. On windows 7 or 8, press windows+p, and select duplicate (or something similar, I use a dutch version. Remember that the ipad is seen as a normal screen from windows, so all functions you have with a real monitor, you also have with displaylink for ipad.
Remember that you cannot use the touchfunctionality of the Ipad.
