Edit: I also updated to Big Sur 11.6 a few days ago and didn't try Displaylink after that so can't be 100% sure if it is the new Displaylink firmware or MacOS version that solved it. |
So after running this for a few days I can say that it isn't flawless. Displaylink doesn't find my displays if the computer is on or in sleep when I connect it to the docking station. I have to reboot it every time I reconnect the computer which is annoying but at least it works.
