This isn't something we have experienced.
Is that only the Ethernet dropping or you have other undesired behaviour? Does the link stay up, does Wi-Fi works and takes over...?
If you also have other undesired behaviour, can you describe them and try with 10.1 Alpha?
http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/file?d=325. That Alpha does not have specific Ethernet fix but improvements on general behaviour.
