Hi Both

Hottracks contacted us through our support page with logs from our driver, with the issue that the display set itself to 640x480. Looking at the logs, the reason for this is that when the dock was connected and we tried to read the monitor information (EDID), we got bad data. This meant that we did not know the modes that the monitor supported, so set it to the safest 640x480 mode. No other modes are reported as available by the monitor which is why this is greyed out.

I suspect the fault happens when the dock video output cannot identify the monitor and the modes supported. A USB replug makes it have another go, and when it succeeds all is fine.

I think this could be a problem, with the video connection between the dock and the monitor and the connection to read the monitor data being unreliable.
