I just experienced my first freeze with my Targus Extender.
Symptoms:
- All displays plugged into the extender froze with whatever they happened to be displaying (IOW The screens continued to show the current "state" of windows at the time the box froze).
- All actual windows reverted to my laptop as if USB had been unplugged.
- All built in USB functionality (audio/network) stopped working.
Comments:
- Unplugging and plugging in the USB connector from PC to Extender made the bing bong noises, but nothing changed.
- Turning the extender off and on again resolved the issue.
