Default DisplayLink 3.0 TargusSuperSpeed

I'm struggling to get my Targus USB 3.0 SuperSpeed docking station to recognize, start DisplayLink and allow the use of dual-monitors.

Last week I ran the through troubleshooting using this forum and never could get the two 3.0 ports on my Samsung Laptop to work. I saw in a post someone using the USB 2.0, so I tried it. What do you know it sprang to life and worked.

I sit down today and plug in my laptop and guess what, USB 2.0 not working when it was and neither do the 3.0.. So I restored back to a previous restore point and started over and so far no luck.

I've updated my AS Media Host controller, updated windows, manually installed DisplayLink from CD that came with docking station, rebooted countless times and nothing.

Can anyone help or provide additional steps to look at?
