According to the information available here --> https://support.hp.com/us-en/product...075224/manuals the docking station you are using does NOT have DisplayLink technology inside of it. As a result, DisplayLink will not be able to help you.

Based on your description of the behavior, the docking station you are using has a DisplayPort Multi-stream hub inside of it (also known as DisplayPort MST).

Mac systems do not support DisplayPort MST, which is why both of your displays are mirrored. There is no workaround for this behavior, this is a limitation of macOS.

In order to add two external displays to your Mac, you will have to use a device based on DisplayLink technology. DisplayLink has a list of available products here --> https://www.synaptics.com/products/d...ylink-products
