Other than the following issues, the driver has been extremely stable:
- Changing system time (from System Preferences or via Terminal) locks up DisplayLink monitors. (Already reported in a different thread)
- One monitor out of 8 isn't detected if the monitor is in power-saving mode. As soon as the monitor is turned off and on, then I disconnect and reconnect the USB cable, it's then detected and functions properly. Not a huge deal, just an annoyance.
Other than that, I've been using the 2.4b1 drivers for over a week on 8 monitors (4 native, 4 DisplayLink.) It's a bit sluggish, but a heck of a lot more stable than previous versions of the Mac driver...and dare I say...the Windows drivers. I'm also running Parallels w/ Windows 2012 R2 in Coherence mode across all 8 monitors with zero issues.
