Does the rest of the HP dock work (video/audio/ethernet) OK?
Do you have any other USB 3.0 devices you can connect to the dock's USB 3.0 ports to see whether it is a general hub issue or an issue specific to the HDD docking station?
I would contact Sharkoon support to see if there is a FW upgrade for the HDD docking station.
