I've been having the same problem with my Acer...

I've been having the same problem with my Acer monitor, 1200x1920 is the only choice showing and is unusable (discussed on this link: http://www.displaylink.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1543)

I installed the Alpha and it brought up the vertical monitor in rotated mode. But the resolution is off ... I'm only offered 1200x1920 on that display. My main monitor still has all resolutions...
