Yeah, unless you can actually boot in safe mode I think you are screwed, unless Displaylink has any insight on this.. yours is a very specific environment setup.

Sorry.. I missed the FileVault reference.. Try creating a user that isn't file vaulted and boot in to that person, unless you are full hard drive encrypted, then I am afraid you might be boned.. but...

Because there is no workaround for rotating... If you read through all the posts, you will see the issue has been esculated to Apple... the driver is crashing do to a change in the graphics driver...

Option + Apple + open monitor = give you rotation...

Option + Apple + open monitor = give you rotation option on all monitors.

As far as we can go on troubleshooting..

I think we have gone as far as we can go.

The rebooting while holding shift and then opening System pref/display worked to get my system back to 3 monitors..

I will wait to see if something...
