Now I see.

As mentioned in at least one previous post, you need to have a common password between your PC and iPad, not anything to do with an iPad password (or lack of) nor using your Windows...

I am using an iPad 1 and XP.

During the installation of the software onto the PC I am asked for the iPad password. I don't use an iPad password! Therefore it seems that I cannot install...
