No 4k display works through D3100 on Dell XPS15 Windows 10
I am able to attach my Vizio 4K TV directly to the XPS15 laptop and it runs with 4k resolution, however, I get no display when connecting to the TV from the D3100. It claims there is a VGA monitor...
