I am using a DoubleSight DS90U as my only/primary monitor on a Mac Mini Server. In this case, is the DisplayLink software required, or is it only necessary when using a second monitor?

DoubleSight DS90-UC Camera Not Working with Lion

My DS90-UC camera input worked fine when using PhotoBooth (Mac system video and camera recording software) using the earlier DisplayLink driver running under Snow Leopard.

After upgrading to Lion...
