Same problem here with a DELL Precision 5530...

Same problem here with a DELL Precision 5530 Notebook on Windows 10 latest and a USB3to4k DisplayLink adapter. Same error message. Same behaviour.

Using a 90° rotation I have a 1080x2560 resolution, plus a 1080p monitor, both with DisplayLink beta driver. I compare against a not rotated 2580x1080 Displayport Screen connected to a MacBook Air.

Thanks Carlo, I just got one of your USB 3.0 4K Ultra HD Display Adapters, connected via DP to DP Cable. Now I have two 21:9 Monitors (2560x1080) connected to my Macbook Air.

Awesome!!!! Works...

BTW: SwitchResX doesn't allow even a lower scaled resolution for 21:9.

Is there any switch, that I can tell the driver to use this resolution: 2560x1080? Or maybe to scale a minor resolution the right way? 21:9 maybe?
