Is displayLink the only MFG that makes usb port replicators? Seems like most companies just print their logo on what DisplayLink makes.

Personally, I had it with my Kensigton sd3500 the windows...

That's because I already did steps 1-8 for you. I just forgot to re-number. The two INF's were modified to work with windows 8.

The only two drivers that need this update are in the picture below...

I have modified the intel usb 3 drivers used for windows 7 to work on windows 8 64 bit. Give them a try. Make sure you read the "readme" file first!
